About the author…
Hi there! I am Yida, a senior undergraduate computer science student at Bucknell University.
This website hosts a portfolio of my visualizations created for the Prof. Abby Flynt’s data visualization course.
In addition to the visualization, my past projects focus on automating the video-based semantic segmentation of sparsely annotated echocardiogram using deep learning. I have published two papers on this topic at the SPIE Medical Imaging 2021 and 2022 Conference both with oral presentations. My work is advised by Prof. Joshua Stough (Bucknell University) and Prof. Christopher Haggerty (Geisinger).

I am also the project maintainer for KALMUS, a color analysis toolkit for film studies. You can find the project’s GitHub Repo here, KALMUS-Color-Toolkit. The project is supported by the Mellon Academic Year Research Fellowship awarde by Bucknell Humanities center.
